In this spotlight series we are introducing the courageous, clever and powerful women in our Ladymates community.

To better understand the journeys of our Ladymates, we reached out to hear their reflections on pivotal moments, their unique strengths, and the goals that drive them forward.

So, let us introduce Cinthya Zurita, Senior Operations Manager at Remarkable!

Tell us a little bit about your career so far…

I started my career exploring creative fields like marketing and design, but quickly found my true calling in operations. My first taste of the startup world came in NYC with the Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, where I supported founders in bringing their ideas to life. After moving to Melbourne, I transitioned into operations within NDIS auditing, then took on a project with Cricket New South Wales in Sydney. Now, as a Senior Operations Manager at Remarkable Tech, I’m dedicated to building processes that empower our team to do their best work and drive meaningful change in the disability tech sector!

What is your #1 professional superpower?

My superpower is turning ideas into reality by leveraging tech and building processes that keep teams moving fast and aligned with our mission!

What is the #1 area you'd like to grow in professionally?

I’d love to become a master of delivering actionable feedback. I thrive on receiving constructive feedback myself, and I want to be able to provide the same for my team in a way that’s both encouraging and honest.

Song you're listening to on repeat at the moment?

Espresso - Sabrina Carpenter

What’s a quote you live by?

Do all the good you can, for all the people you can, in all the ways you can, as long as you can.— Hillary Clinton

Outside of work, what do you love to do?

Big board game fan here—8-hour strategy session? I’m in! I’m also getting into robotics, building and coding my first robots, and, yep, I’m developing a Roblox game on the side too!

Why did you join Ladymates Collective?

Moving to Sydney was one of the best decisions I’ve made, but it came with its own challenges, like feeling isolated. I joined Ladymates Collective to connect with like-minded, ambitious women who keep me accountable and inspire me to push towards my goals. I’m excited to be part of a community of role models who are reshaping the startup ecosystem and supporting each other’s growth.

What's been your favourite part of Ladymates Collective thus far?

My favourite part of Ladymates Collective has been being surrounded by women who genuinely want to see each other succeed. In environments that can often feel overly competitive, having a supportive group cheering you on makes all the difference!

What does "Ladymates" mean to you?

To me, Ladymates means having friends who cheer you on professionally—women who support, inspire, and hold each other accountable to reach their goals.
