To truly support our Ladymates, we need a gang of superstar coaches who are passionate about growing female talent, and who are dedicated to gender equality.

By being a coach, you'll develop individual relationships and offer support and guidance to a range of women on all stages of their startup journey - whether they're still at school, have just landed their first startup role, or a seasoned startup operator/founder.

In order to provide the best experience for all involved, Startmate maintains a high bar for participation as a coach in terms of both industry experience and motivation for involvement. The best coaches bring a pay-it-forward attitude to supporting their Fellow's development, as well as a hunger to learn themselves.

  • Working at a VC fund

What you’ll get out of the Accelerator 
  1. Investment: We invest AUD 120k in each company so that all your energy is focused on building your startup.
  2. Founder friends: You’ll be surrounded by a cohort of equally ambitious founders on the same journey.
  3. Pitch perfect: We’ll tear your pitch deck to shreds and by the end of the Accelerator you’ll have a bulletproof deck ready for investors.
