"The best thing about Ladymates Leadership is the instant connection to a support network of women, all navigating similar aspects of work and career. It's the brains trust we've all been missing! And such an uplifting part of my week."
"Joining Ladymates Leadership gives me the chance to connect with like-minded women, share our struggles, and learn how to handle new situations. I'm using this collective wisdom to help me do better in my role and support my community, while also becoming part of a new community of like-minded women."
"Ladymates has reminded and reinforced for me the value in creating time to pause and actively think and reflect before choosing a course of action. This is a lesson I'm working to integrate more and more into my everyday decision making."
"The best thing has truly been meeting the amazing cohort of women. In terms of the content we've covered, it would be hard to pick just one thing - but I think the top two would probably be learning about my saboteurs and the workshop on difficult conversations. I've printed out the problems vs possibilities image and have it next to my computer as a reminder!"
"Love this whole concept. It really was an opportunity to be part of something very special at the outset. The learnings, personal growth and the friendships have been worth every second. I was seeking a community when I applied, but I ended up with so much more."
"Loved the more casual convo style of our peer advisory groups - made it feel more like a group of friends sharing advice / tips with each other."
"Coaching is awesome. You absolutely get the most out of it by paying close attention to your peers because you learn while they talk."
"I've been coming away from every session with tangible, practical advice to tackle my biggest challenges from people who've actually been through it before or are currently navigating the same thing. Plus, it's been really special to meet such an awesome group of women."

We appreciate that 'leadership' can be a bit hard to define, so we consider individual eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
At the moment, we are only running this membership in Sydney and Melbourne.
If you are not based in either of these two cities, but would still be able to attend the mandatory in-person sessions and events, please get in touch.
In the future, we also hope to run Ladymates with in-person hubs in other capital cities across ANZ. If this is of interest, Iâd highly encourage you to reapply for future intakes!
The membership is part virtual, part in-person. The executive coaching and advisory board sessions will be virtual, but the âlevel-upsâ and curated social events will be in person.
Due to confidentiality and the need to create a safe space for candid conversations, virtual sessions will not be recorded.
We appreciate most women in leadership are already beyond capacity, so weâve built Ladymates with that in mind - low time commitment, high value.
The compulsory time commitment is ~2-4 hours per month.
Beyond this, participants are also encouraged to engage with each other and dig into bonus opportunities depending on their individual capacity.
The specific day/time of these sessions will vary to suit your individual availability, as well as the availability of your Coaching and Peer Advisory group members.Â
In-person workshops will run in the evenings after work, typically kicking off around 5:30pm.
The specific day/time of peer advisory and coaching sessions will vary to suit your individual availability, as well as the availability of your group members.
Please note that Exec Coaching will also take place in the first half of the day as our amazing Exec Coach is US-based.
We believe you get out what you put in. Given the limited cohort size, we want participants who are ready to commit to their growth and are present to support their fellow Ladymates Leaders.Â
For this reason, attendance is mandatory. Participants who miss more than one session may be withdrawn from the membership*, so please get in touch if you have concerns about your availability.

This isnât the end of the world. We encourage a healthy work/play balance (and talk about it all the time in exec coaching!). It's fine to go overseas or take some holidays, just be sure to give your group members/Coach a heads up. Your membership will keep rolling during this time.
However, we prefer participants are not absent for months at a time or miss more than a session or two.
Note that we also put all sessions on pause for the end of year holiday period!
There are several types of mentoring/support women will receive through Ladymates.
Many of our members have been able to secure sponsorship through their workplace!
Weâd highly recommend at least having the conversation with them. To help you navigate this, weâve put together this handy guide on how to get your company to invest in your Learning & Development.
If this is not an option for you, you may apply for a Scholarship. You can read more about scholarship criteria here.
Currently, we offer scholarships for women with a low socio-economic background in partnership with  Westpac.
It's important that you feel safe to share the challenges you're facing and get the support you need. One of the Ladymates core values is confidentiality, and Chatham House Rules must be upheld by all members.
